Ramblings: Stress and Me

It’s been a while since I’ve updated all of you about…Anything.

First of all, Central Canada Comic Con is happening soon – from October 27th to October 29th! I’ll be volunteering the whole weekend, the 7 AM to 3 PM shift. Which is sort of funny, in a sense, given what I’m going to say next.

Recently, I’ve took stress leave from work. Ha, I know right? But recently, work has been causing me to get really sick as of late – and I’ve been entertaining dark thoughts due too it, along with actions I wished I haven’t done to myself. It’s been a long few months while working, and I just needed time to get better. Something for me to get healthy again so I can help my people at work.

(Since I haven’t mentioned it before on here – I work as a Home Care Worker)

Due to this stress leave, I’m now in therapy with a social worker and now I’m taking care of my health a whole lot more than I have before.

Now, what does this mean with my art…? Well, a lot, I think. I’m going to be working on it a lot more due to the time off, and I’m hoping to improve on my quality so I can have some freelance work going on when I’m back at work – to have another means of financial backing if I ever get this sick again.

As well, I’m going to try to paint more things and do more different things creatively I hope. All and all, I’m hoping to keep my stress levels low until we figure out what exactly at work or at home is making me so damn anxious.

I’m going to keep you guys posted as often as I can, and hopefully more newer and different pieces will be added here. 💕
