Traditional Art – Casual Conversation

Akina and The Warden, Krutis Amell. Why haven’t ya’ll seen many drawings of Krutis…? Well, he’s usually appearing in the comic more so than illustrations, so if you want to see more of him – go to Dragon Age: ECHO‘s site.

One thing I love about Krutis and Akina, they have a mostly-green clothing/colour palette with warmer skin + hair colours. I have no idea why that’s so fascinating to me, but it just is. It doesn’t help that Brutus has mostly a blue colour scheme and Cu√°n mostly has a red scheme…

Materials Used: Sepia Copic Multiliners, Copic Markers,
Primsacolor Markers, and a Uni-ball Signo White pen.

Traditional Art – A Peaceful Afternoon

I…Just wanted to draw Akina with a bundle of flowers. Honestly, I can see her gathering all of these flowers up, just to throw them onto Brutus below. She likes to bother him in those ways. ūüíó

This was honestly just a break between inking comic pages.

Materials Used: Mircon Pens, Copic Markers,
and a Uni-ball Signo White pen.

Traditional Art – Spell Bonded Twins

For some immense reason, between working on comic pages, I wanted to draw Snow + Rose…And spend roughly four days or so spacing out the whole process.

Originally, I wanted to use watercolours for this – but I realized far too late that my desk is forever at an angle. Like, even if I wanted to flatten it down to use it as a regular desk I wouldn’t be able too. So, I guess watercolours are just going to be a touch-and-go thing for me – not quite meant for ‘serious’ illustrations, but yet something I still want too do…

Materials Used: Mircon Pens, Copic Markers,
and a Uni-ball Signo White pen.

Traditional Art ‚Äď From the Dark

Once in a while, I use the good old ‚Äú100 Theme‚ÄĚ Challenge for prompts. That’s where my Purple Flowers’ illustration came from as well. For those who weren’t around in deviantART from the years 2008 to like 2010, the 100 Theme Challenge is basically a list of 100 prompts that you choose from. Normally, people do it in order, but I like to use a random number generator and get a number that way ‚Äď more fun, way more random.

The prompt from this challenge that I got was ‚ÄúDark‚ÄĚ – which I drew up two concepts I really like from. I’ll get around to the second concept in a little bit.

In this illustration, I have Brutus and two one off-characters I drew once-upon-a-time, the elf and cleric unknown of the rouge hidden behind the trees….Or are they unaware? For all we know, the elf could very well know that Brutus is hidden, and is secretly wishing for his rescue!

Materials Used: Mircon Multiliners, Copic Markers, Primacolor Markers,
Winsor and Newton Pro Markers, and a Sakura White Gelly Roll.

Traditional Art – A Rose named Geoffrey

Rose was a name he didn’t choose.
Rose was a name that was bittersweet – a name that refereed to a child and his sister,
The two who played daily, those who cared less about the world –
Not a bitter man, leading his men to die
For his selfish needs.

Supplies Used: Sakura Mircon Pens, Copic Sepia  MultiLiners, Copic Markers,
Sakura White Gelly Roll, and Stratmore 400 Series Bristol.

Traditional Art – Kl2go!

Once a month, I draw a member from¬†Rooster Teeth’s community site.
This month, I drew¬†Kl2go! Who really likes Sprite as far as I can tell – which I don’t blame him, Sprite is freaking great. He also has an awesome shirt that I want/need in my life.

It explains everything ever.

Traditional Art – Mailas’ and their Humans

img20160312 watermark

While most seen it as¬†oppressive¬†to them – for they are smart,¬†conscious¬†creatures¬†– Mailas’ need companionship to be able to keep their animal-like¬†instincts¬†in place. Although many Mailas disagree with this, there are a few who enjoy the¬†domestication.

¬†Ayyyooo! I wanted to draw Reyes and Clive together! Reyes is – in many of ways – Clive’s ‘owner’. They¬†makes sure Clive doesn’t get too upset over small, simple things. For Reyes they gets grounded and “humaning: as they claims.

Materials Used: Sakura Mircon Pens, Copic Markers,
and a White Gelly Roll Pen.

Traditional Art – Hair Disaster

To this date, this is the first drawing where I have these following things happen;
Over-filled markers drip onto the drawing.
Four markers dry out completely.
Changing the floorboards to wooden planks to the wall.
A moment where I realized I truly – really – improved as an artist.

This was a test to see how much I improved from 2014…
And I say I improved quite a bit from then! The picture I re-drew is here on my deivantART page.

Materials Used: A HB Pencil, Sakura Mircon Pens,
a Sakura Gelly Roll pen in White, and
Copic Markers.

A Speed Draw of this drawing will be posted on my Youtube soon!
