Sketch – The Twins

Watermark'd.png

I’ve decided that I’m going to TRY to scan more of my sketches instead of taking photos of them with my phone like how I usually do – I dunno how long this’ll last, but hey – it might happen!

I’m mostly only scanning this since I might ruin the sketch while inking, since I have an ability to do that when I’m using the materials I’m going to use…

Digital Art – An Unneeded Contract

Watermark'd

Autumn looks pretty pretty with long hair. Brutus, on the other hand, looks so done with the other mage…And a bit flustered. 😆 Oh, Brutus, you have poor  tastes let me tell you…

It’s been a while since I did digital art – to me, at least. I’ve been sketching out comic pages like crazy, so I haven’t had a chance nor really wanted too do any digital work. This was a nice break from blue lines, lemmie tell you…

These two are from my webcomic, Dragon Age: ECHO.

Traditional Art – From the Dark

Watermark'd

Once in a while, I use the good old “100 Theme” Challenge for prompts. That’s where my Purple Flowers’ illustration came from as well. For those who weren’t around in deviantART from the years 2008 to like 2010, the 100 Theme Challenge is basically a list of 100 prompts that you choose from. Normally, people do it in order, but I like to use a random number generator and get a number that way – more fun, way more random.

The prompt from this challenge that I got was “Dark” – which I drew up two concepts I really like from. I’ll get around to the second concept in a little bit.

In this illustration, I have Brutus and two one off-characters I drew once-upon-a-time, the elf and cleric unknown of the rouge hidden behind the trees….Or are they unaware? For all we know, the elf could very well know that Brutus is hidden, and is secretly wishing for his rescue!

Digital Art – A Rare Slumber

It’s rare for Niththal to fall asleep, even when he’s around people he trust. His experiences in the Gallows are to blame, obviously, but the rare chances he falls asleep are rare. Even more so when he falls asleep around Akina, even if he claims he never ever passed out in front of her.

Akina loves these moments, since it means he defiantly trusts her to fall asleep…

Traditional Art – Mailas’ and their Humans

While most seen it as oppressive to them – for they are smart, conscious creatures – Mailas’ need companionship to be able to keep their animal-like instincts in place. Although many Mailas disagree with this, there are a few who enjoy the domestication.

Ayyyooo! I wanted to draw Reyes and Clive together! Reyes is – in many of ways – Clive’s ‘owner’. They makes sure Clive doesn’t get too upset over small, simple things. For Reyes they gets grounded and “humaning: as they claims.

No, seriously; at times, I just need to see how my characters would wind up if they were in our time, and of how they’d interact with one another… Its honestly really, really fun to imagine, even more so when I’m in a blockage for ideas!
